After being an avid fan of NCL and touting its superiority to similar cruise lines I am writing to say that our cruise experience was a disaster. We had planned for this trip for over 10 months and cruised with family and friends. This is not what I expected to pay for and am severely disappointed. Without writing pages of details and limiting the problems to only a handful, please see some of the details below.

• Boarding was chaos, upon arrival to the port there were no porters available to take baggage and the one we did find was running a racket outside where he was taking people's money to ensure that their bags were safe and if a person did not pay them that the bags "might not make it on the ship."

• A raffle giving away spa discounts were given out, luckily for us we won a $100 voucher, yay! When trying to remit the spa said that the voucher was for signature services only, when we said we would take a signature couples massage they said that the menu of services was printed improperly and that it was not available; after several tense minutes they agreed to allow a voucher on a massage that was already more than double what one would be in a city and 10x the amount at any of the islands

Cabin Review

Oceanview Porthole Window

Cabin OG

The cabin were adequate and similar in size to other cuise lines, the problems we had with the cabin were solely based on the A/C not working properly.
