Cruising during Halloween seemed like it could be a lot of fun. And it was - we made it fun. Our group of 4 stayed in a marvelous two bedroom DOS. While typically cruise ship small, there was enough room for 4 adults, and the room was comfortable. The service by our butler and room steward was outstanding! Most fellow cruisers were great too.
What is it they say? If you can't say something nice... Well, this may be a rather short review.
There were a couple of vacation heroes here and there among the crew. And much to our surprise, we found we really liked Ginza's food. Best steak I had all week was in La Cucina. The other restaurants, well, not so much. Cruise Director staff was fun to hang out with, and we did many things with them. I think I did more on this cruise after the late shows than I have ever done before on a cruise. But for some things during the day (like trivia) you need to have people running them with a better command of the language for me to fully enjoy it. Oh well, we got the message somehow, often using a Google translation or spelling the words.

Deluxe Owner's Suite
DOS with 2 bedrooms... Small, especially 2nd bedroom. Limited storage in bedrooms and in bath. But roomy enough for 4 comfortably. Nice view from the main bedroom. Incredibly good service from the Butler and steward team. We had everything we needed while in our cabin.
Port Reviews
Tampa
Embarkation and debarkation were both delayed due to lack of staffing in the terminal. Crowds and chaotic lines resulted.
Roatan
We took a taxi tour on our own. It was just what we wanted to do, but it would have been nice to get in the water and do some snorkeling. Maybe next time!
Belize City
Tendering is always a pain - even when the weather is great. No exception here. NCL excursions were all very pricey, and we did not have $100 per person or more to spend. Got to the gate and decided not to leave the port village. Spent less than an hour before heading back on board. I wish Harvest Caye was part of this itinerary, as it was supposed to be when we booked the trip!
Cozumel
Been there before and didn't have plans for this trip. Walked through the shopping mall and had a Margarita at Jimmy Buffet's Magaritaville. We found ourselves back on board in time for lunch and had fun on board the rest of the day.
