I was traveling with a group of ten cruisers, many of them had been on cruises before this was my first time and my husbands second time. My expectations were not met. The energy upon our embarkation was high and enthusiastic by the second day many of the crew members barely made eye contact with us. The term "washy washy" was only heard a hand full of times and often I had to ask for the hand sanitizer myself, instead of it being offered. The waiters were so busy they did not have time to make us feel welcomed and on one night we almost missed our show because the service was so slow. The waiter did apologize for the slow service during when he brought our main course out but we still had to wait over 15 minutes for our club soda (that we asked for multiple times.) Manhattan room, Savor and Taste offered the same meals on the same day so there was no variety. What is the point of having 3 dining choices when all of the choices are the same? The Spiegle Jungle Fantasy show was amazing and completely worth the money and time we spent. The service was quick and professional and well as personable. We felt welcomed.

The outdoor activities on the cruise were good. The basketball courts, miniature golf, obstacle course and rock climbing were all so much fun. However, we were sad that "Walk the plank" was not available during our time on the ship as we were really looking fwd to that excitement. Also our niece conquered her fear of heights by doing the obstacle course and zip lining down. We wanted the picture of her zip lining down and were disappointed when we were not able to find it, especially since she went down twice! When we tried to ask the photo gallery for help they said the only thing we could do was look on the wall and we were unable to find it. That was a downer.

The entertainment on the cruise was okay. Rock of Ages was great and I personally loved Burned the floor. The newlywed show was hysterical and I loved the scavenger hunts, bingo and other family activities that were offered. They helped make the trip. The cruise director was seen at almost every event and that was nice. We loved the neon party, 70's party and the 80's party on the top deck. The private island was the best part and I wish we had more time on it. However, the lines were very long for everything and by the time we got to serve ourselves the food was being taken away and they were preparing to close. The excursions were so much fun and we highly recommend feeding the sting rays! Stingray city was the highlight of our trip.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Our room was cleaned quickly and always stocked with the necessities. Our shower was amazing and helped me relax every evening. We were very happy with our stateroom- 13792. We had enough room to be comfortable and the bathroom was sooo nice but the toilet did not flush properly. It often required multiple pushes before there was any reaction. It's a minor issue but it should be addressed.

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

Easy embarkation.

Great Stirrup Cay

Stingray city was the highlight of our trip. Captain Jester was awesome and knowledgeable, he ensured we felt comfortable. Everyone should do this!

Great Stirrup Cay

Nice, mellow, low energy activity. Balancing can be a bit of a challenge but once your up you are good to go!

Nassau

Such a great experience. The guys made us feel so welcomed and safe. A shark lost a tooth while we were swimming with them... and the guy gave it to me as a souvenir. It's something I will keep forever... the aquarium was amazing!
