Sail Date: Oct 2015
Cabin: Grand Suite

We boarded the ship via a priority line for suite guests with no problem (around 11:30am) in Barcelona. Our "Grand Suite" would not be available until 1:00pm. We had lunch on the Lido deck. The food in the main dining room was above average. The stateroom attendants and dining room wait-staff were exceptional. This western Med cruise was very port intensive with most tours taking all day to complete. The tour guides provided by Royal Caribbean all had accents that were at times difficult to understand.

By the time we got to our last port (Montenegro), we were all exhausted. I would recommend not taking a tour in Montenegro, and just taking the tender to old town (near the dock). Overall, the cruise was very enjoyable, the ports interesting, and the experience unforgettable.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

Cabin 8518 was just below the Lido deck, and although the room was spacious and well-appointed, due to its proximity (one deck below the Lido) and near the outdoor movie screen, we heard noise (foot traffic, bands playing, movie noise) on several occasions.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Stayed in Sitges and rode the train to Barcelona and just walked around.

Kotor

Scary one lane road to top of mountain by bus. No guardrails. Got back in the dark to ship.
