We flew into Lisbon and we were picked up by Viking at the airport and taken to our hotel. We spent two nights at the Trivoli Hotel which was very nice. I really loved the city of Lisbon. We live in South Orange County California, so it was really a treat to be in Europe and Lisbon was very European.

We went on the tours for those two days and then were driven to the ship. The ship was so comfortable and our room was great. Everyone was so personable and nice. I loved the smaller ship feeling and the fact that you could sit wherever you wanted at the meals and not always with the same people. We got to know a lot of very nice people from all over the US and Canada.

In summary the ship was great! The only problem was the air travel to and from. That was miserable because we went Economy and if you can upgrade even to Economy Plus, be sure and do that!

Cabin Review

French Balcony

The cabin was spacious enough. There's room to put your empty luggage under the bed. The closet was roomy enough for our clothes and the drawers as well. Everything was fine and the balcony was big enough to sit out on at the table and have a glass of wine.
