This was our second Viking river cruise. We did the Danube river a year ago. The Moscow to St. Petersburg was absolutely wonderful. The country was beautiful, the Russian people were wonderful, and the excursions well done. The service crew was fantastic and the service was exceptional, mostly Russian and Filipino and very friendly. The food was truly outstanding in every respect. There were two other couples with us and they agreed too that the cruise was exceptional. One of the men is a frequent world traveler and he said that it was the best trip of all that he has made over the years. Evelyn the hotel director was exceptional and truly went out of her way to make sure that all of the guests were satisfied. My wife and I truly had no complaints about the trip.

Russia was the last place that my wife wanted to go in the world but she turned around 180 degrees very quickly. Our perception of Russia really has changed a lot. We found the people to be delightful, friendly, and they love Americans. They are very proud of their country and its culture and history. You should not miss the Russia river cruise.
