I read a lot of reviews about how old the ship is and in need of this and that I found it just fine.I couldn't pin point one thing wrong with it.Neither could my family which ranged in age from 21-59.

We all did the late seating and had table 532 with our head waiter Lucien Jean,I Gusti, and Kadeck. They were all very friendly and knew by the second day what you liked to drink. They are very hard workers.I saw them at the morning brunch then again at 8:15pm and always with a smile on their face.

The entertainment on the ship is very good and so many different places to go to for music. Marcelo Marshmellow is a very good cruise director and very funny.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8C

Our cabin was 7632 and our cabin steward was Viktor,he was very friendly and kept our room very nice.I forgot his helper's name sorry he was really good too.Although the cabin may be old it was still very nice and clean. The other members of my family were on the same floor and had very nice rooms too.My niece had 7360 which is an inside cabin and it was very spacious.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

Always love this port.We go right to Margaritaville and sit by the pool. They now have big beds to lay in and if that isn't for you, your a minute from the beach, shopping and dining. Also the DJ keeps the good music playing. All free to sit at the pool and at the beach right there.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

When you get off the ship you are walking distance right to Amber cove pool area.I would say about 5 to 7 minute walk, or you can take the ride they offer for 6 dollars on a bike carriage to the end of the pier and walk 2 minutes to the pool and shopping area and the taxi's are there too.Amber Cove is beautiful. They have a huge pool for adults with a swim up bar and a child friendly area too. They have loungers in the pool too.Plenty of seating, great music and you will also see dancers dancing on top of the bar they put on a great show. And it's all free. They have zip lining there the price is 6 dollars to go once or 12 dollars to go as many times as you want. They have big beautiful huts right there that you can rent for the time your there and also huts right on the water. The shopping area is right there BUT it is expensive and the staff is right on you, some even follow you around. Also the bartenders are not the most friendliest people in the swim up bar area.It took a half hour to order a drink that was on their menu then be told you would have to go inside and order it because the don't carry that drink,my niece was like why is it on your menu and why would you send me into your restaurant soaking wet to order my drink. My nephew waited 35 minutes for a drink he orders his drink and the waiter takes off before his girlfriend could order her drink,The bartender comes back with 2 of the same drinks and tells his girlfriend you ordered this and you have to pay for this.Other then this little hip cup Amber cove is beautiful and well worth the visit.
