This is an older but nice ship. The crew are outstanding and very friendly, attentive and warm. We had our two 10 year old granddaughters with us and they loved the ship even though there were very few children onboard. The entertainment was fine but nothing special. We were a little disappointed in the food as we had heard it was outstanding. It was not but it was fine. Actually the buffet was quite good for a buffet service. We often ordered coffee in our room in the morning and it was hot and on time. We did not go to any of the specialty restaurants as the girls don't need much and it would have been a waste of time and money.
Did not take any of the ship excursions as with the two girls we felt private tours were better. Would highly recommend RomeinLimo in Rome and many other Italian cities. They are great!! Used ToursbyLocals in Ephesus and our guide was great and very attentive to the children.
Cabin Review
As there were 4 of us, we booked the Family Verandah on Deck 8. It was very large at 450 sq ft so plenty of room for ua to have privacy in a very large master and the girls too in a smaller bedroom. The verandah was just right for 4 of us to sit out. Did feel that the unused space in the living area was a waste. A table to seat 4 so we could play cards or eat a meal in the room would have been nice and there was plenty of room for this. Liked having the extra windows, but the aft of the ship does rock and roll a little more.

Great guide, driver and car. Very comfortable ride. Girls are interested in pottery so we went there also. Guide Selcek was wonderful and very attentive to the kids.

Since only 6 of us was more like a private tour. We did the major highlights and our guide was incredibly knowledgable but sometimes had to understand.
Malta (Valletta)
Great driver/guide. Local who knows Malta well and was very patient. Took us where we wanted to go and also gave advice.
