We did the Solstice in the Mediterranean and loved it. We just did this Southern Caribbean and hated it. Mostly due to the ship itself. The ports were quite great.
The Pro's:
Solid Ports of Call. (except Martinique. They don't seem to know why we are there and have zero interest in tourism)

our room attendant was non-existent our entire trip. He was changing our sheets but that's about it. He showed up the last night to guilt us into a tip by saying "wow it looks like you guys have really expensive jewelry.". Really REALLY weird.
We took off 1 of our prepaid gratuities because the service was quite bad.
