For Starters , Boarding the ship in Brisbane was a joke, from the time we arrived and to the time we got to our cabin was really 2hrs, things were held up a lot by there stupid , no bottle water policy, making people throw out or drink it on the spot, Very stupid. They were so paroind that someone my take their own booze onboard. very stupid . The ship itself is old and it looks like it. Our cabin which was a suite, was very nice, at least it was big enough to hide in. We had all our breakfasts and Lunch in there. At least we did not have to pay for anything, because of the fact of being in a Suite, I pity the family who have three kids and they want a Hamburger or pizza.

The food on board was pretty average. We only went to the Buffet twice, not enough choice for us. The waterfront was a little better, the meals were nice , but not great. As we like wine, the choice you had was not very exciting, very poor choice of wines. I might as well stayed at home. The two Restaurants that you paid a lot of money for extra was not worth it. The Slat Grill which we have experienced before on the Pacific Pearl , which was amazing , this time ,the price had gone up, half the items that well had before had been taken off the menu , and what was left, had been cut down by half. La Luna, was a joke, didn't taste anything like Japanese food.

The Entertainment was the worst I have ever seen on a cruise ship. Piano players had no idea how to play, I sat or should I say tried to listen to this girl playing in the Atrium area, play Piano Man, she was not even playing the right chords. The two other male Piano Players, should go back to school. The Entertainment in the Theatre by the Singers and Dancers was very poor, None of them could sing that well and had no idea about how to dance as a group. The Public areas I liked their look but, were very small for the amount of people on board, you had to get there early just to get a seat. The Only bar we liked was the Mix Bar, Those two Bartenders were great knew their stuff. It was just a pity they had terrible music down stairs.

Cabin Review

Cabin Suite

Cabin was big, compared to what we have been used to. It was clean but not really Clean, I think the steward , didn't really look around when he cleaned the cabin. Their was a , it looked like a coffee stain on the wall behind the lamp, I notice it the first day , but he didn't and it was never cleaned, I did wipe some of it off just to see if it came off, and of course it did. Apart from that the cabin was pretty good. It just looked a little old, but nice. Had a coffee machine.
