Just returned from a Bermuda cruise on the Splendor. We had a blast! Yes, it's the pink biscuit ship that needs a facelift, but everything was great on our trip! Our stewart Gede was fantastic! Our inside cabin was small of course, but had everything we needed. The food in the dining room was terrific as was our head waiter Jose. There were only 2 elegant dress nights and the rest were cruise casual, which was new for us and a nice addition. The Lido had Mongolian, Tandoori, Pizza, Bruger station, Rotisserie station upstairs and the poplular Burrito Bar. Everything was great and the staff were all very friendly! The shows were great, especially in the Punchliner Comedy Club! We had 2 comedians on the way to Bermuda and 2 new comedians on the way back to Norfolk. They were hysterical! They have PG shows early in the evening and 18+ shows later in the evening. Kevin the Cruise Director was very funny!!

The pools and hot tubs were very popular! The last sea day, they had Towel Animal Theater....towel animals filled the Lido Deck in front of the movie screen! It was adorable! We loved getting a new towel animal every night! Bermuda was fantastic! We went to the Crystal Caves and Sea Glass Beach, which we had not seen on previous trips there. The bus rides were very long, but the drivers were always helpful and looked out for us so we would get off at the right stop. The locals were very friendly was well. We have already booked our next Carnival cruise to Alaska!
