The ship is OK about 15 years old but holding up well. A lot of stress on hand sanitation which is good. Staff is very attentive unable to solve specific problems. My wife is on a low salt diet and there is really no one to help you. They can apparently only help you in the dinning rooms not at the buffet which is the efficient way to eat breakfast and lunch, service is slow in the dinning rooms, usually took almost 2 hours for dinner. For low salt they give you a menu and you have to order for the next day. There was a disconnect between placing a order and them understanding and delivering it, often came out wrong. Most of the food, buffet and dinning rooms, was very salty and jsut OK. The regular dining room menus were limited and repeated often.

The other problem is that we were 2 decks under the basketball court, (deck 10, mid ship) and you could hear the ball bouncing. The court was to be open 8-8 and was tolerable then but at 11:30; PM 1:30 dn 6:30 AM was annoying to say the least. First I cant believe that this is the first problem they have had with this in 15 years. When I complained the staff was astonished that fellow passengers did not read the fine print on the daily schedule and adhere to it. There are no signs with hours on the court. Almost nightly I had to complain and eventually they sent security after a few calls and a trp down to the desk. I was told that a sign was "on order but delayed" . Somehow they were unable to get it toether to just remove the balls each night or gate the court.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Cabin was fine if a little cramped as it was very narrow, very tight to get past the first corner of the bed about a foot of space. Bed was very comfortable. The only real problem was the noise from the baskeball court

Port Reviews

Acapulco

with at city tour, have to drive along the bay and then drive back same route about 45 min each way and not alot of interesting things to see except the outside of some hotels, had a stop and a jewelry store in a park, bargained well

Manzanillo

not much there, small shopping area and just a poor port city. A chance to se how common Mexicans live if you walk behing the stores, will appreciate the States

Puerto Vallarta

was more on the trip that the info stated, including driving ATVs, a tube water slide and a sort of bungie jump, staff was very attentive and safety minded. Will try to hit you up for $40 for a picture flash drive, cant take your own pics.

Mazatlan

often unable to hear guide inside, too hot of top outside, guide had very heavy accent difficult to understand anyway almost nothing of interest, local divers a joke, just stopped to see from bus. Bargained hard with street vendors, did well for silver

Cabo San Lucas

Really fancy glass bottom boat that looks wile a sub. Good view of fish at reef. Take you out past the arch so see that as well. Nice large clean safe center of town for tourist area

San Diego

got to ship at 11AM due to flight schedule, waited an hour in a barn of a bldg, just water available. Once called got on fast, others complained of delays bording later. Got into room at 2PM luggage came shortly. Good share vans to from airport 10 min away $8PP +tip
