This was our 2nd time sailing on Freedom of the Seas (the first was 12/08) and we enjoyed our second time much more than the first. We booked this sailing about 3.5 weeks prior to departure so only inside cabins were left. We were on Deck 9, forward and the cabin while small was very comfortable and we did not feel any more rocking or motion than in cabins more midship. The cabin was clean, well appointed and clean. On our first FOS sailing I was very disappointed in the My Time Dining. I have to say second time around and 5 years later, RCCL has finally figured out My Time Dining. We made reservations the first 2 nights and were seated per our request with other couples. On other nights we just showed up and were seated at a table for 2 but the table was so close to the one next to us, it was as if we were at a table for 6! It was very enjoyable. We also ate at Chops Grille, one of the specialty dining restaurants on board and the service and food was exceptional. Probably one of the best steaks I have ever eaten! Will definitely dine at Chops again.

It was too choppy for us to tender to Coco Cay so we headed directly to St. Thomas arriving 3 hours earlier than originally planned. Due to our inability to tender to Coco Cay the cruise director staff immediately revised the days activities without skipping a beat. We have been to St. Thomas and St. Maarten multiple times so we did not take any tours. We just walked around downtown and shopped.
