I am an elite member on another cruise line and I expected (even though I was told not to by my travel agent) to get the same type of service, dining experience, and ship cleanliness as what I'm use to. I'm sorry to say NCL lacked in all the above catagories and a whole lot more.
I found out that my tips were raised a month before my cruise and I didn't know anything about it. I was told by my travel agent that NCL nichols and dimes you to death, which I found out when I ordered a cup of coffee and a conolli and the server told me that would be $4.50. I asked why and she said we charge for deserts outside the dinning area. I found that the dinner memu was lacking and mediorce at best.
I also found that disembarkation was a total disaster, there were so many people crammed in the middle of the ship and you had no idea where the line started or stopped. There wasn't any security around and people started to swear and two guys almost got into a fight.
No problems I usually always travel by balcony but this was a nice room.
