This was our 4th cruise with Carnival. We have cruised with several others but have found the "Conquest" style ships of Carnival best to fit our likes. Had an ordinary ocean view cabin that was very spacious and well equipped. Yes there is only one outlet but we bring a triple adapter, problem solved. Had some rough seas but ship was comfortable. Guy's burger joint, the blueiguana cantina and the mongolian wok are the main reasons we choose the "Conquest" style ship. Fresh food to order served hot, what a concept compare to the buffet which is always "old and cold"! The Fish and Chips was also a favorite in the past but this cruise the food was mushy, yuk. # good ports in Honduras, Belize and Cozumel. The cruise director, Malcolm is the best we have ever come across. Overall a very good cruise

Ocean View

Cabin 6B

As stated above, the rooms on Carnival are better and bigger than most. Plenty of room, bathroom is adequate and the bed is comfy. Could use firmer pillows. Being on floor one you can tell by looking outside your window as to the height of the waves

Port Reviews

Roatan

Have been here before but this time we knew ahead of time about snorkeling with no cost. Just walk to end of beach and you will see a pier. Walk to end, enter water and head for the orange buoys out and to the left. Excellent reefs to watch many colors of fish and plant life.

Galveston

Getting on and off the ship at this port is very convenient, loved it. Be careful who you choose when parking car long term. Stay away from Lighthouse Parking. They were unorganized, rude and looking for tips. Not helpful at all. We screwed up there, don't you : )

Cozumel

Went to Money Bar a 5 minute cab ride from port to do some snorkeling. After our experience in Honduras, this seemed dull in comparison. We enjoyed ourselves and on the way back our cabbie suggested the "The cave of the Pirates as a place to hang our hat for cheap eats and drinks. WOW! $2 beers and fantastic tacos! This is right across from the Puerta Maya cruise terminal. Free Wi-Fi and it is a strong signal. The employees were very friendly. You will be welcome and comfortable here. Highly recommend

Belize City

Not much here without going away from port. Had a few beers and hooked up with free Wi-FI. If you leave gated area expect to be bombarded by locals. They will try and sell you anything and everything including family members : )
