Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

This was our first cruise on Norwegian, and it was perfect. Our steward, David, was exceptional and went out of his way for all in his section. The room was always kept up, fully stocked, and clean.

We stayed in 10814 mid ship balcony. Room was a good size, not too clustered, balcony was a good size. Saw a lot of complaints on the balcony size but we found it more than large enough for us. We traveled in a group of 6, with 3 adjoining cabins so we opened up the privacy walls and had a lot of room for all of us.

10814 and that area are 2 floors above the Cigar bar, so there was a trace amount of cigar smoke now and then, but as a cigar smoker, not bad at all. Was noisy at night with the partiers down there, but with the sliding door closed and sealed, not bad at all.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

Plenty of room. Bring extra card to keep lights/outlets on. Bathroon good size but no outlets. Hair dryer is in main cabin area, with 2 regular 110 outlets extra. Single serve coffee maker. (if no coffee maker in room, ask steward and they will supply). Fridge is small, I emptied the pre set collection of drinks and filled with my own. Tip:bring canned drinks as they fit better laying down and stack for more volume. I fit 1 2litre bottle, 3 water bottles and a few cans in.

Unless you are Huge, the balcony is plenty big for 2 people. This room has bed next to closet and is a little tight on that side. Closet is large enough for regular loads, but take off provided hangers and leave on floor. They clank when hanging in rougher seas.

Plenty of storage under bed for at least 3 large suit cases, and 2 storage areas under TV and next to fridge. also in rolling cube under desk area with more room for small bags under it as well.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

took water ferry to St George. Walked all over, had high tea, took bus to Hamilton. Swam around horseshoe bay area, walked all over Hamilton. Walked main port. Lots to do, see and eat.

New York (Manhattan)

was a very easy check in/out on both ends of trip.
