I was so excited about this cruise, but it started poorly and didn't really bounce back. There were some good aspects of course, but not enough for me to say "I'm glad I went on that trip". In fact, I wish I had stayed home.

On my first night I was made to sit alone in the dining room. Twice they refused to move me to a table with other people for the night. Guest services just barked at me when I went to complain. The problem was solved a week into the trip but dining was already ruined by then, and the waiter kept harping on every night about how we had to rate the food service as "ten out of ten" on the survey - it was funny the first time but when he repeatedly went into detail about the survey structure, we decided it must be tied into his tip allocation.

The cabin was well-serviced but tiny. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows completely flat and hard. My cabin steward brought more but they were the same, so I ended up buying some at one of the ports.
