My husband and I have cruised 10 times, 4 of them on Carnival. This was a last minute booking, chosen for the ports (Aruba, Curacao, Grand Turk, Dominican Republic), not the ship. Having read many negative reviews of the Conquest, we were a little apprehensive of how our cruise would go. It wasn't a "wow!", but it was good.

We drove from Maine to Florida in an RV.

Embarkation went OK. We were assigned a Zone #, and seated in the waiting area. Only complaint was that the Zone #'s were not called out loudly enough to be heard and that led to some confusion.
