Sail Date: Oct 2015
Cabin: Balcony

This was the 6th cruise for me and my DW, all on Carnival. Her DS and BIL joined us (their 1st). We had adjoining Balcony cabins, 8263 and 8265. We are all in our mid-50's-late 60's.

Pre-cruise: We flew from Syracuse, NY to San Juan the day of, something we had never done. To say I was nervous would be putting it mildly, as I also did not purchase insurance! The flights were seamless, arriving on time. The taxi ride to the port was very comfortable and easy.

Embarkation: Arriving at approximately 2 P.M., we were on the ship within 30 minutes. Once aboard, we headed to Lido for lunch. Guys' Burgers were awesome, as I returned there numerous times during the week.

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Typical Balcony. Good size, plenty of storage. My only issue was the A/C did not seem to be that cool.

Port Reviews

San Juan

The only thing I did was go to CVS to get soda for my wife, as she drinks Diet Pepsi.
