I have cruised many times on other lines and was hopeful my first experience on NCL would be a good one. The ship itself was beautiful but I think they have tried to cram way too much into the space. Sometimes less is more. I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service we received from everyone with the exception of the teams in Cagney's and Moderno. There was never enough wait staff in the pub, no matter what time of day it was. I even experienced no service that cause me to get up and leave after waiting an extended amount of time.
The ladies' public restrooms on level 6 and 7 always needed attention. No matter the time of day or when they were attended to, they always smelled of urine. I thought I was in a portable potty at times.
The emergency evacuation drill that is conducted prior to departure was unorganized and chaotic. I can honestly say if an event occurred and the ship needed to be evacuated, I do not feel either the staff or guests would be able to do so safely. This process needs a serious review. Perhaps the US Coast Guard could/should assist in this matter.
