We sailed from New Orleans and had time to take trolly to see some sights in the city.Bourbon Street,Jazz Festival .Serenade of Seas is a very well kept mid size cruiser. We enjoyed the public areas of the ship and found the Solarium to be the place to enjoy breakfast in the morning! There was plenty to do all day!The pool was at times crowded but always managed to find a chaise.Bingo, cinema and casino kept us busy during the day.The theater was always spectacular especially the two man comedy show from California!Had everyone in hysterics!!Everyone who worked on this cruise ship was helpful, accommodating and seemed to enjoy their role in RCCL.We pretty much did our own excursion in every port.Grand Cayman we walked to the downtown area and shopped.Had lunch right on the waterfront. We had previously vacationed in the Caymans so passed on Stingray City,Seven Mile Beach and Hell but highly recommend for those who have not been.Aruba was our second stop and took a cab to The Ritz and toured the Hotel. We then walked the boardwalk along the beach to the Hyatt and had lunch out on "The Pier".Bonaire is for snorkeling and diving. We walked to the Divi hotel and snorkeled right off the beach. The dive store is on site.St.Maarten is great for shopping and taking a van tour.We toured over to St.Martin( French side) and went to a nice beach. St.Thomas was our last port and decided to jewelry shop! There are some of the best beaches on this island! Our cabin was well maintained by the housekeeping staff and always had a bucket of ice in room!Embarkation and Disembarkation went very smoothly and there was no problem leaving mid morning.Would take another cruise on The Serenade of The Seas .
