Although we are now Platinum members with Norwegian, this was our first time on the Getaway as well as staying in a Haven Suite. We booked the suite because we were celebrating our 40th Anniversary. We had a very relaxing time. This cruise was especially enjoyable because we like sea days. It gave us the down time that we needed to relax and rejuvenate.
We thoroughly enjoyed the "Burn the Floor" show in the theater. It was upbeat, professional and well done. We also enjoyed the dance lesson we took. The lesson was taught at the appropriate level, and was just right in length. We had the advantage of knowing some of the steps, which made it easier for us to follow. We watched others in the room and they appeared to be enjoying themselves as well.
The staff in the Haven was great. We liked being in an area that was quiet and private. The service was exceptional. The staff in the Haven quickly learned our preferences and catered to them. It was wonderful to limit our time in the rest of the ship. The Haven concierge team was totally focused on serving the customers. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home.

The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony
Our suite was spacious and well appointed.Our Cabin Steward and Butler were very attentive. It was always a pleasure returning to the suite, because we never knew what to expect from our butler. He took exceptional care of us, especially because of allergies. Once he learned what they were, he took great pains to ensure that he did not place things in the suite that would trigger them.
