M y wife and I mostly cruise on Princess but we thought to try Royal Caribbean. This was our third cruise with R.C. The "plusses" were the ice show, good cabin attendant (Wendy), clean ship, quiet and comfortable cabin with a good bed, helpful people at the service desk, good waitress in the main dining room in the evening (Staci), and ONE good show.

The negatives were: much too much "nickle and dimeing", sales pitches everywhere, mediocre and unimaginative food, poor waiters in the dining room at breakfast and lunch, mostly poor shows and a "pseudoshow" at 10:30 PM, several poor tour guides, and gangway problems at both embarkation and disembarkation.
