We are a mid-30s couple who have cruised twice before, with Celebrity and with Royal Caribbean. (This cruise and itinerary was selected and booked by someone else as a gift, I was not involved in the selection.)

In comparison to our previous cruises, we found the general level of service on Norwegian Jade to be shockingly lacking.

Pros:

Cabin Review

Family Balcony

Cabin B2

Fantastic cabin! Loved having a balcony. Shower was spacious enough (even for my tall, broad husband!) and the bed was very comfortable. lots of room for our clothes and other belongings.

Port Reviews

Dubrovnik

We took a taxi from the port to the gate of the old town, and walked the city walls. Beautiful views of the city and the sea! At dinner at a delicious restaurant called La Lanterna. Loved wandering the city streets and shopping. Very lovely city.

Venice

Loved our time in Venice. It is very easily walkable, and so nice to wander the streets and alleys, just get lost for a bit! Lots of lovely shops and restaurants to try. The area around St. Mark's is VERY busy, we enjoyed our time further away from that area much more! Very easy to navigate the water bus system (Vaporetto).

Split

We walked right off the ship into the beautiful old city of Split, loved shopping and wandering. Lunch in port was delicious. Sunset sailaway was STUNNING!
