Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

We found the ship, although dates, clean and well kept. Our stateroom was small but functional. The bed was comfortable and there was adequate storage. The balcony furniture left a lot to be desired but we were still able to enjoy great views. The two thinks lacking that we will look for on our next cruise ship were free wifi and do it yourself laundry. The wifi on the ship was expensive and very slow.

The staff, with the possible exception of the librarian, was accommodating, friendly and courteous.

There were five restaurants on board, counting the Dive In bar on the swimming deck that serves good hot dogs, hamburgers and has a Mexican buffet.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We saw Rome on our own

Taormina (Messina)

We didn't take an excursion but did the hop on hop off bus. We didn't care for Messina but people who took the tour that included Taormina all loved it

Katakolon (Olympia)

Katakolon is easy to do on your own. The train to Olympia is 10 Euro and takes 45 minutes. There is a combined ticket for the museum and ruins sold at the museum.

Santorini

We rented ATVs and toured the island with another couple. A really fun day and a great way to see this beautiful island.

Venice

Venice is unique. What else can you say?
