We did not have high expectations for this last minute inexpensive cruise but we needed a stress break. Much to our surprise the Jewel was delightful! The food was the best in the past eight years of cruising and the service polite, unobtrusive and on time. While not a large "fun" ship, it was perfect for having good music in small venues and different large shows than the usual. The staff was friendly and warm. It seemed a very well run organization with crew who enjoyed working together. I have paid more on other cruises, gone to interesting ports, but never enjoyed my onboard experience as much as on this pretty little ship.
