Arrived 3 days prior to cruise and stayed at Hilton Hawaiian village in Honolulu. Waikiki beach is one of the nicest beaches in hawaii. The accommodation was in the rainbow tower and was very nice however the balcony was 4th floor over the lagoon side. I would prefer higher up floors and the ocean side (other side) in retrospect. Lovely facility with 3 pools, there was lack of lawn chairs available at times and this was surprising as it wasn't their busy season. Food was expensive but there are many restaurants within walking distance. We did have pizza in the resort and it was excellent.
Cruise: overall was excellent, food delicious, entertainment abundant and varied which was also excellent. We had the dining pkg so ate at all the restaurants. Loved the Japanese and the moderno (Brazilian). All others were good....la cucina, cagneys, Jeffersons bistro. The entertainment on board was fabulous...we especially enjoyed the comedian Chris alpine and the magician Charles Bach (still mystified on how he did the tricks). Also loved oh what a night show that featured the jersey boys, also the cruise lines productions were very well done with very talented individuals
During breakfast We brought baggies and made sandwiches to take on the road for picnics during the day. Also filled up water bottles.
Small and dated. Lots of storage space. Bathroom was tiny and
The shower stall very small. Port side and nice location...right near middle stairs.
