The Eurodam is a great ship and the staff are professional and very courteous.
We used the HAL transfers and hotel (the Midtown Hilton) and arrived a few days ahead of departure. The location of that Hilton is great. Our room was a little worn. There is very limited seating at the back of the lobby, where we waited to depart. Maybe that usually goes quickly? We were hung up because Hillary Clinton's security would not let the busses arrive for an hour. (She was staying next door.) Most people had to stand for nearly 2 hours.
The passengers tend toward the older crowd than most cruises. That could be because some of the ports have low-activity excursions.
The cabin was roomy and very clean. Our balcony was large. Cabin attendants (2) were very good and polite as well as helpful. Every night we got not only chocolates but also an animal (made from towels) on our bed. Each night the animal was different.
The ship is close to many things to do in Boston. It was easy to take a taxi and get back on time. There were good excursions. We just chose to see family.
