This was my second Viking River Cruise and my Husband's first. We were greeted at the train from Helsinki and driven to our ship. We were welcomed on Viking Truvor with pleasure and directed to our cabin where everything was "shipshape". Our luggage was delivered promptly.

St. Petersburg was splendid and exceeded our expectations. Our Guide, Misha, was excellent throughout the entire cruise. The local guides were excellent as well and all spoke English very well. The service aboard the ship was excellent. Everyone of the staff went out of their way to introduce themselves and remember our names from then on through the remainder of the cruise. Not only did they remember our names but the type of tea I drank as an example.

The cities/ towns and villages we visited on our way to Moscow were unique. Having tea in a private home and visiting a school were some of the unique experiences we enjoyed. Loved all the art museums,as well as the palaces which were lavish and the churches as well. Read more
