This was my first cruise and I had a blast.

We embarked from Barbados, the process was smooth and easy. The atmosphere from the port was upbeat. We got name tags and were sent on our way to the cruise ship. Being my first cruise the ship was beautiful so I cannot compare.

After receiving our fun card, we traveled to our cabin; the lift, the lighting and ambience just oozed fun. People we calling our names and saying hi (at first I thought wow psychics, then I realized they were seeing my name tag lol).

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Cabin was spacious enough for us. The balcony was convenient especially when you want to get up early and watch the ship cruise into a new port ahhhhhhh!

There was more than enough storage space for clothes.

Bedding comfortable with towels being changed once they are put on the floor.

Port Reviews

St. Lucia

We walked around Castries - we took the ferry. We visited the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. Mingled with the locals and that was good for us.

Dominica

I always wanted to visit that island for its ecosystem. I was not disappointed. We took a tour to the sulphur spring and saw mamma and papa waterfalls. Also we visited where the baobab tree fell on an empty school bus in 1979 as a result of Hurricane David.

San Juan

Shopping and sight seeing. We saw many of their statues of past American presidents, the most recent being Barack Obama. Old San Juan is gorgeous.

St. Thomas

Walked around town liked what we saw. I took the skyride to Paradise Point great place for photos and souvenirs.

St. Maarten

We stayed on the Dutch side and walked around the duty free shops. It was good to just take in the culture. The French side is a must do next.
