Me and my wife recently sailed for the second time on Enchantment of the Seas to celebrate our first anniversary. Since we know the ship pretty well, we wasted less time trying to figure out where and when everything was happening.
The boat itself is in pretty good shape on the inside. Everything is well maintained and clean. The outside could've used another coat of paint, as the ship was a little more worn and rusty than I remember.
The Windjammer buffet was routinely a madhouse. The food is good, but the when the ship was extended years ago, they neglected to increase the size of Windjammer. It's pretty much always busy, and since there's no set lines for anything, people are constantly in each others way. Small side note, if you're like me and like corn beef hash, they seemed to have improved the recipe. Last year, the hash was runny like the oatmeal. This year, it's a little drier and meatier.
I made the mistake of booking this room without really comparing the deck plans of 3 and 4 to see what would be above us. If you stay in this stateroom, just know that the Centrum is directly above it. We were woken up around 3am each morning by the sound of the cleaning crews shifting chairs around. Aside from that, the cabin is what we expected.
The new port terminal was very roomy, and super efficient. We're gold members, and it felt like only a few minutes before we were boarding the ship.
Vendors try to mob you as soon as you enter Nassau. We're not interested in anything anyone has to sell, and it's nerve-racking trying to walk around downtown and not be bothered by anyone.
