This was a family vacation- with 6 people. We drove to the port and left our luggage with a porter. This was fast and easy. We arrived at the port about 11:45 am and we were able to board the ship by 12:30 pm. We were prepared for longer lines and were surprised it took less than an hour. We boarded the ship and had lunch, and we were able to get into our room by 1:30 pm. Our luggage didn't arrive until 5:30, but it wasn't a big deal. We still had time to change for dinner.

We dined at 6 in the Paris dining room. Next time we will probably change to your time dining because we missed the beginning of a few shows due to the length of the meal. However, our server- Silvia- was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond! We loved her! The food was good, but we were a bit disappointed that there is an up charge for lobster. In our previous cruise we had lobster one night and it was not an up charge. This time, We did not order it due to the price.

My favorite part of dinner was the dessert. The carnival chocolate melting cake is excellent.

Cabin Review

Cabin 6 mid

We had 4 people in our room. It was small, but we knew it was going to be small. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed sleeping on a bunk that pulled out of the ceiling! The bathroom was a bit outdated, but it was functional and clean. The room was fairly quite and we were able to sleep well.
