This was supposed to be a cruise to see the fall foliage, but the weather had been so warm leading up to the cruise that the trees were still green. I guess that is a good enough reason to repeat this cruise someday.

We arrived in Quebec City Thursday evening and stayed at a Marriott hotel right in the center of Old Quebec. It was really very nice as the center city reminded us of a European city due to the architecture.

This was one of those cruises where you board the ship and stay overnight on the ship, but the cruise doesn't start until the next evening. So Friday was spent basically boarding the ship and getting settled in and waiting for a second piece of baggage to arrive that U.S. Airways decided to send to Montreal instead of Quebec City. It showed up 30 hours later just a few hours before the ship sailed.
