We decided on this cruise in June 2015, we traveled with another couple and we are all in our late 50's. I was a little apprehensive at first since it had been awhile that we sailed Carnival, having chose other lines.

We flew into Fort Lauderdale the afternoon before rented a car and stayed at the Best Western Adventura, hotel is nice and clean, decent breakfast. I did alot of reasearch on places to eat, and through Trip Advisor decided on the Ocean Alley in Hollywood right on the Boardwalk, amazing resturant! The crab cakes were perfection, the crab stuffed shrimp were amazing and how can you beat half price drinks from 4-7pm. We sat in the open air resturant and watched the waves come in listening to the band sipping on Margarita's. Great start to vacation after a very busy past year with health issues, work stress and well life.

We arrived at the port at almost 1:30pm and was surprised how long the line was to board the ship, it did go smooth, just thought most people would have already been on. We got on the ship within about 30 - 40 minutes and were able to go straight to our cabins and unload the bags we carried on. Looked out the balcony and on the way to lunch, The choices were pretty good, and since I have to watch what I eat, I decided to have salad, it was fresh and tasty. For the most part all the food we had in the buffet was better then I expected. And Guys burgers yummmmmm.

Shopped in the port area, got some local brewed rum,

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Wanted to go to the beach but the weather was not very nice. It was very windy and choppy. but we had fun shopping.

Cozumel

took a cab ride to Mahogony Bay, loved the beach and the pool area, the cab ride and the cost for the beach and pool was 15$ per person. It was a great deal.
