...wait, sunlight is not free either! At Preziosa you have to pay for admission to “solarium” (this is what they call "adult only" pool) And it is not cheap! Do not remember exact number – something like 12 or 18 euros.

MSC would charge you for everything that other cruise lines offer for free: room service, tea and coffee at a restaurant, a ride from your ship to a port exit. Some commercial ports have strict safety rules: passengers are not allowed to walk across on foot there. At those ports other cruise lines offer a lift for free to their passengers...MSC cruises would sell you a ticket for 12 euros... and a taxi ride cost twice less then MCS is charging you for a short shuttle bus ride …

Same story with their excursions – overpriced, but the quality is not there. In Italy tour guides could hardly speak English. Not all of them, only those hired by MSC. We booked only one tour in Rome through MSC. Our tour guide was pathetic! We have seen many decent guides at Coliseum. They spoke perfect English. It’s a shame that MSC cannot afford them!

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

We had a big gap between shower doors. Our floor was constantly wet. Our stuard worked very hard to keep it clean.
