We just got back from 8 days aboard the Scenic Crystal. We stayed in Budapest at the Marriott for one night which was located on the Danube and a lovely hotel. Our first night on the boat was a cruise on the Danube to see the the beautiful lights of Budapest. Our stateroom was roomy and the balcony had an electric window so you could sit out on there in any weather. The dining room was wonderful with no assigned tables. The food was fantastic with many local items and could order room service if needed. The wine was flowing and the service was wonderful. The lounge/bar was spacious and the staff was very attentive.

Our shore excursions were fun, unique and easy to navigate. Everyone had their own personal Scenic Tailormade devices that you could listen to the tour guides with ear pieces or listen to history of the river. There was local entertainment as well our nightly musician. This was an all inclusive cruise and it means all inclusive. Great choice of liquor, wine, side trips and most of all tipping was included. No need to constantly get our a few bucks for tipping the staff or bus drivers. We did tip our butler at the end of the trip because we had outstanding service. I would use Scenic again.
