traveled with my brothers for a early 50th birthday celebration. My last cruise was on the Oasis of the Seas, so of course it's hard to compare the two. We all live in TX, so traveling out of Galveston is easy. Arrived at port at 12:30 and waited in long lines in security. This was mostly due to not enough people checking passports. It was hot and stuffy and a little frustrating but we made it onboard by 2:30. Headed up to lido for food and headed straight for GUYS Burgers. No complaints there, it's the best food on the ship! The buffet is just okay and I found the dining room food just okay. Not wow like it used to be. Of course our service staff in dining room was great! I have no idea who our room stewart was as I never actually got to talk to her. But she kept the room cleaned so she did her duty.

Did not care for the playlist entertainment. Just doesn't stack up to the entertainment offered on RC. So it was a little boring on most nights. we got stuck with late dinner so missed all of the movies offered outside so it really left just the casino. We did attend some of the comedy and it's always good, but very crowded. Maybe they need to move the comedy to the main theater since it proves to be popular.

Ports were very good. Jamaica, we did the river tubing with Chukka thru the cruise line and it was relaxing and the rum punch was awesome. We were never hassled and although my last experience in Jamaica was not good, this time it was great. Grand Caymen was excellent. we did the stingray/snorkled/turtle farm.....awesome experience, loved the stingrays and the snorkling was awesome (lots of fish). Don't try to feed the iguana's at the turtle farm, they bite! I was unable to see the park since I had to deal with a nasty cut on my finger. Had to see the ship doctor to clean out wound and get preventative antibiotics. $$$ In Cozumel we went to Mr. Sancho's and had a great time. Recommend the paddle boarding!!
