Though the Azamara Quest is going in for a multi-million dollar refreshing I found the ship to very ship-shape. It had a genteel old world ambiance that was a fit with its well traveled and mannered guests. The crew understood the proper balance between personal and professional. Captain Carl was seen all about the ship and exuded and air of competence, humor and friendliness. All the little details were handled seamlessly; check-in and out, tendering, tours and so on. The rooms were immaculately kept and sanitation was a high priority throughout the ship. Staterooms were smallish compared to other upscale lines I have cruised on and the showers we quite small. Food and beverage were solid with the 3 specialty restaurant being very nice. The Chef even prepared a special porcini mushroom dish for me after foraging in the local market.

The Ports on this cruise were nice, especially for those who like to take a swim on the islands visited. Lots of old towns, beautiful churches and unique ruins.

Overall this was a very nice cruise and would cruise with Azamara again in the future.

Club Veranda Stateroom

Cabin V2

Smaller than some other high end lines. Very well kept. Prompt room service. Nice balcony. Small bathroom and shower but adequate.
