The previous reviews of the Olympia mostly held true. Although the ship is about 35 years old, it is well maintained. I would just like to add a couple of comments. We had an outside cabin number 3063 on deck 3 (Hermes). It was just as expected. The cabin size was adequate, but the shower was very tiny. Our suitcases did not fit under the beds, so we had to store them elsewhere in the cabin. The cabin stewards were very good. The food was unexceptional, not quite as good as on our previous river cruise in Germany. The reception staff who were in charge of billing were very inflexible. For example on the last night before disembarking I had a small bar bill that I wanted to pay in cash. I was not permitted to do so, and it was automatically charged to my credit card. To sum up the cabin and cruise were good value, but not a premium service.
