How I would describe the whole ship is "understated elegance" including the public areas and cabins. It is a very beautiful and relaxing surrounding.
Our regular concierge (A2) cabin was a generous size with appealing appointments. Of note (FYI): we liked our previous A3 cabin location on level 9 better than this "upgraded' one on level 10. The concierge lounge is on 9 and the laundry room there is accesible from both sides, but only on the far side (from us) on 10.
The food is excellent, especially at the Red Ginger. The service and meals that we have had there are among (if not THE) best we have ever had. I am ashamed to admit that thinking about eating at Red Ginger was one of the causes for us to return to Oceania.
It seems like a beautiful and interesting location. However, with 4 or 5 other large cruise ships in at port, too crowded. We did not even try to get up the cable car (or stinky steps) to Thira. We did take a boat ride to the volcano and that was enjoyable. Would be nice if somehow they could limit the daily visitors.
We really enjoyed walking around this lovely and scenic town. Could even dip our feet in the sea there.
