Norwegian has a lot of work to do. Personally I do not like freestyle as it is really just a way to cut regular service and hope you pay more for the specialty dining. The lineups for dinner were horrendous unless you ate at very odd hours. The cafeteria became a zoo as people abandoned the dining rooms. When you did get a meal it was generally pretty good. Some restaurants, like Bamboo, served slop, we were very disappointed. And to be expected to add 18% gratuity to everything was a bit much. NCL is just downloading wages to the customer. Gratuity should bea reward for service not as a compulsory expense.

Shore excursions were good but rushed which I know is pretty standard. Our room was well cared for and the ship was clean. So clean that they covered our window for three days while they removed paint outside our room starting at 9am. Since the window view cost extra I expected some compensation, none was offered. The entertainment offerings were on par with previous cruises.

Our next cruise will be with another provider.
