We have just returned after a fantastic cruise on the Thomson Majrsty. We chose the Hellenic cruise with ports of call including Mykonos, Athens and Crete. We were very apprehensive after reading less than glowing reviews of the Majesty. We need not have worried, yes the ship is a little tired and the cabin basic, BUT it was more than adequate for our needs. We did not book a cruise to spend all our time in the cabin. Our cabin stewards Kristina and Jamie looked after us and kept the cabin spik and span.

We ate in the seven seas restaurant where the food and service were very good. We chose to share different tables each night and as a result met some fantastic people . I recommend doing this as made for an enjoyable and often hilarious dining experience .

Special praise is reserved for the team of Stacy, Sarah and Adam in the Royal Fireworks lounge, the quizes and game shows made for a highly entertaining week, anybody who saw Mr and Mrs or the sports challenge will know what I'm talking about!!! The team here really made our cruise.
