Embarkation:

Boarding the ship was efficient once we passed the security checkpoint which was typically inefficient. We required a wheel chair to board. Ship’s personnel were courteous and took my wife and I directly to the Windjammer for lunch. Our cabin was available by one o’clock.

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

We had a balcony cabin on the 9th deck. It seemed small compared to other Royal Caribbean ships we sailed on. There was ample space for our clothing, however. The location was near the forward elevators which was very convenient. The room was clean and fresh. But the balcony was a mess. Paint was chipped; there was noticeable rust, and it was not clean. While our cabin was cleaned daily, the balcony was never attended to.
