This was our tenth NCL Cruise, second time on the Epic and first time in the Mediterranean. Our first time on the Epic was its maiden Caribbean cruise, some five years ago. The Epic was heading to dry dock after this last cruise and, although it showed some wear and tear in the five years, she was still magnificent ship.

The itinerary included only one sea day, which left little time to enjoy all the ship has to offer. However, we enjoyed ourselves on the ship. Although the ship no longer features the Blue Man group, the other entertainment options were good.

The itinerary itself includes three stops in Italy, one in Cannes, France, and one in Majorca, Spain. I'd suggest excursions for the three Italy stops as the principal cities are a distance away and to see more of these places, it is helpful to have knowledgeable guides.
