Took a cab from Penn Stat--no problem--to the port. Figured we would just take a cab back to Penn Station--We did arrive early bc the captain went full speed to out run a hurricane--Only a few cabs out across the street from the port--they were not interested in the short ride to Penn Station--they were waiting for someone who wanted to go to the airport :P Then one driver offered to drive us home for $180...I shook my head and smiled at his offer-- since was a beautiful morning we walked from the Port to Penn Station--took around 30min. Have cruised out of NYC Port before and had no problem getting a cab and we could have gotten one if we walked a block over...Really no big deal.
