This was the 3rd annual Sisters' Cruise. We found the ship and frontline staff to be excellent. I am not a smoker, but found the cushions in furniture of smoking area on Deck 17 to be horrendous. New cushions for those folks, please. The embarkation and disembarkation staff in the terminals need more training and help to speed up those processes in New York. Those were both painfully slow. The immigration check in Boston as opposed to Bar Harbor wasted several hours of my precious vacation time. That process didn't seem well supervised by Princess management.
When there is bad weather and you know more guests are going to attend indoor things like Bingo, move it from Club 6 to the Princess Theater. Standing up for bingo when you already paid for cards is not fun. My only gripe about food, is that Princess seems to have changed to a lesser quality puff pastry, because it was tough and I never experienced this before on a Princess cruise.
Entertainment on board was good, enjoyed comedian, singing and dancing routines and magician a lot. My favorite port was St John, New Brunswick and our private excursion with Tours by Dave. Fabulous! I was really sad to miss Bar Harbor and Newport, but no one controls the weather.
Cabin was lovely. I don't like the new soap and conditioner.
