Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

Embarkation for this cruise was a nightmare! 3500 mostly elderly passengers held in multiple terminals for hours on end with no food available. Not a good start.

The ship itself is beautiful, and clean. We had a mini suite which is just slightly larger than a standard cabin, but it has a good size bathroom. Balconies on this ship are pretty small. Staff was mostly very pleasant and accommodating. Favorite place to spend the afternoon is the Sanctuary, and Movies under the stars are a fantastic thing to do! Loved that they put out blankets on the chairs, and come around with pizza and cookies.

But for some reason you just cannot get decent baked goods on a cruise anymore. All the cakes and breads were dried out, like days old, right from the start. The only good place to get a fresh dessert was the International Cafe on Deck 5, where they make the most delectable treats and great coffee.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Decor is very attractive in this room. Mini Suite bathroom is a nice size, balcony is tiny. There is a full size sofa, an armchair, and Table. There is a nice desk, and charging outlets. It has a mini-fridge and a small safe (not large enough for a laptop). If you use a CPAP device to sleep, bring an extension cord. Outlets are not close to the bed.

Cabin Steward was annoying, constantly knocking. But the room was very clean.

Only area right off the ship was a run down shopping terminal. We walked around it for ten minutes and got back on board.
