We went from St. Louis to St. Paul up the Mississippi River. This was a new area for us to see...and we had a great time. It was fall foliage..but the leaves had not changed yet. We really enjoyed visiting the towns along the river. We liked the hop on hop off trams in each city. We were not impressed with the Pre cruise St. Louis City Tour, but the Post cruise St. Paul Tour was a little better. We would not have done the St. Louis tour had we known how it would be.

This is our 10th trip on a steamboat..so we do like this way of travel. Our cabin was great. The food and service were very good. The entertainment on board was excellent. We especially enjoyed the high energy shows. All performers were exceptionally good. I am sorry to say we did not take advantage of the fitness room. The food was very good as was the service in the dining room. The buffets were great..and the menu choices were varied. We were glad to see our friend Julius from the Delta Queen Steamboat.

We did not take any of the extra premium shore excursions as we wanted to see the towns on our own. This cruise was a good value for us...as we got a good rate..and all was included. We like the cabins with an inside door...in case the weather is colder. We actually enjoyed the bingo and other on board activities. The Riverlorian,Jerry, was very good as usual.

Cabin Review

Our Cabin was very comfortable. There could have been a few more hooks and shelves..but it was suitable for one week. Our cabin attendent was great.
