This was the second time we were on this ship. We drove to Miami from Orlando and had no problems arriving to the port. I find the port to be very easy to get around. We arrived around 10:00 and were on the boat by 12:00. Our stateroom was ready immediately and we met our steward who was very pleasant. The stateroom we had was perfect. It is close to the elevators and was an oveanview room. In fact, we stayed in this room the last time we were on this ship as well. They keep this ship very clean. I was always seeing people vacuuming, cleaning windows, squeeging the deck, etc. We had the early dining time and our waiters were good. The food was just average for me. The buffet seemed to serve the same sort of food all the time. I wish the buffet was open later. My kids (boys ages 10, 7 and 5) loved the waterslides. My 2 youngest loved the kids club. They always wanted to go and never wanted to leave. The staff seemed very friendly as well. This ship had a lot of trivia....my favorite. Tons of it and different kinds ( music, TV, movie, random) it was fun! We only saw one show in the theater. They had 2 other shows but we opted not to go. They had some comedy shows as well that we did not see. We booked 2 shore excursions through Carnival and one we bought off the ship. The shore excursions we did were pretty good. One thing I didn't like was that the music in the atrium was always something Spanish or Hispanic themed. Not what I listen to so we never hung out around there.
We stayed in this cabin twice now. It is connected to room 2263. We heard no noise from other rooms or from hall. Perfect amount of space for a family. I loved the 2 bathrooms. It had plenty of storage.
The beach is amazing. Its right off the pier. The water was warm and clear. No one bothered us on the beach to buy anything. Love it there
Getting to Miami is easy and very simple.
