We had a wonderful cruise. Our cabin stewards, Paul and Sonya, were dedicated, professional, and hard working. The food was excellent. The itinerary was good. The shore excursions were fun filled.
Our only problem was our cabin. We had cabin 6235, and it was absolutely IN the theater. At least we felt as though our room was in the theater because every word, every song, every musical note came through loud and clear whenever anything was going on, night or day, in the Ovation Theater.
Carnival Cruise Lines should offer those louder rooms over active areas of the ship at a discount, or they should make some statement advising passengers that some rooms may have a noise problem. We have cruised eight times, and this is a first time problem for us.
SOOO Noisy. The stewards were wonderful, so kudos to Paul and Sonya. The problem was that we felt every vibration and heard every word, every note in the theater. Do not choose this cabin unless it is offered at a great discount.
We went to the city on foot. It was very beautiful. We walked to the ferry, and we crossed over to the other side using this free service. We enjoyed a lovely open air restaurant. Lovely.
